Pandemic Influence

There is a common underlying and often undetected health issue that plagues many individuals. It is at the core of what drives health seeking individuals to go to a healthcare practitioner and subject themselves to the negative effects of prescription and OTC medications. It causes individuals, desperately seeking relief, to enrich the pockets of third party "health" supplement vendors on Amazon. Sadly, in most cases, their issue is never fully resolved, leaving them to suffer for years and living a less than optimal life.

It can afflict all age groups and contributes to the existence of many comorbities. You can stay home, wear a mask, take Vitamin C until it causes diarrhea, scrub your body with a hand sanitizer, and no amount of social distancing will save you from this life destroying condition. Oh yeah, and there will never, ever be a vaccine to protect you from getting it. Can you guess what it is? Hint: It's not Covid 19.

It's impact is global, with no essential function of your body being spared it's effect. It can undermine the vitality and vigor of an otherwise healthy mind, body, and spirit. For these reasons, you could say it has a pandemic influence over your whole existence. Have you figured out what it is? Seriously, it's not Covid 19.

It is the cause of, or at least associated with almost all diseases, making it the quintessential comorbitity. But in spite of it's rampant existence, and because it's clinical presentation is often a multivariate of signs and symptoms, it is a perfect storm for receiving a misdiagnosis. Far too often, palliative and curative measures applied by well meaning healthcare practitioners, serve only to mask and otherwise complicate the possibility of their patient from ever reaching a full recovery.

In general, this condition presents itself with low body temperature, coldness, low energy, fatigue, weight problems (can't lose or gain it), and slow healing. Other more specific associated conditions depend on what involved physiology is most impacted. For example:

Immune System: Can cause over and under reactive responses that may present as allergies, an auto-immune disease, and a greater susceptibility to infections.

Musculoskeletal: Fibromyalgia (muscle or joint pains), and generalized aches/pains. Repetitive use injury and carpal tunnel syndrome. Weak connective tissues (ligaments, bones, etc). Headaches.

Nervous System: Symmetrical numbness of hands and/or feet. Dulling or loss of senses such as vision, taste, or smell.

Brain: You may experience depression, anxiety, poor memory, decreased focus or concentration, and sleep disorders.

GI tract: Constipation, bloating, digestive disorders, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Vascular: Low blood pressure, high blood pressure, and other cardiovascular disorders.

Sexual: Loss of libido and function. Menstrual disorders. Infertility.

Do you identify with some of the disorders listed above? Then you maybe suffering from Low Metabolic Energy .... Are you disappointed? Did you expect something more grandiose? Please don’t do what most of our healthcare system does; to underestimate the power of energy. This disorder is often overlooked because it was never looked for. But the truth is --

Low Metabolic Energy is a simple explanation for many complicated health issues.

Our body converts fats, sugars, etc. into ATP that is then used for energy. Everything that goes on inside our body requires this metabolic energy. There are many factors involved that can effect how well our body can make this conversion from those fats and sugars into the ATP molecules. Without this energy, malfunction occurs.

Poor thyroid and/or adrenal function, and hormonal imbalance – especially low progesterone or estrogen dominance in women, or low testosterone in men are just a few of those common factors. But be aware, there are other predisposing issues that exist prior to the arrival of malfunction at the hormonal level of hierarchy. Go deeper.

Common universal causes include toxic exposure, nutritional deficiencies, food allergies, viral, and auto-immune damage. When extreme enough, these stressors can overwhelm our body's metabolism and must be directly addressed. But again, stopping your journey here will limit your potential for true health. Go deeper.

Deep within our cellular physiology are fundamental metabolic control systems responsible for maintaining optimal metabolic energy: Water/electrolyte balance, oxygen/lipid utilization, blood sugar regulation, autonomic nervous system function, and the acid/alkaline control system. When these systems are at their best, our metabolic energy is at it’s best.

Who evaluates all this stuff? I do. Call me.

PS. On my last visit to Houston I could feel that summer is coming. We can’t bring back spring, but you can put spring back in your step and it starts with metabolic energy.
